Setup guide

Set up TiviMate with your IPTV service

TiviMate (sometimes searched for as ‘Tivi Mate’) is one of the most popular IPTV players for Android TV, Google TV and Fire Stick, with a TV guide-style interface, fast channel switching and favourites management. This guide shows you step by step how to install it and connect it to your Stream TV service.

Step 1 — Install TiviMate on your device

TiviMate is an Android app: install it from the Play Store on an Android TV or Google TV box, or from the Amazon Appstore on a Fire Stick. Open your device’s app store, search for ‘TiviMate’ and install it like any other app.

On all compatible Android devices — Amazon Fire Stick, Android TV, Google TV and Android boxes — you can use the Downloader : install it from your device’s app store, open it and enter code 272483 and confirm — the TiviMate download page will appear. Start the installation, then open the app. If Downloader displays ‘invalid code’, check that you have entered the full code without spaces, and allow Downloader to install apps (Settings, then Developer options or Apps from unknown sources, depending on your device).

On TVs with built-in Android TV or Google TV (Philips, Sony and certain TCL models, for example), you can install it directly on the TV. TiviMate is not available on Samsung or LG Smart TVs: see the device guide to choose the right player for your screen.

Step 2 — Get your IPTV login details

TiviMate is a player: it does not include any channels and must be connected to an IPTV service. After your 24-hour trial or order, an adviser sends you three login details:

  • Portal address (server URL);
  • Your username ;
  • Your password.

Keep these details handy: they are the same across all compatible players and only need to be entered once per device.

Step 3 — Add your IPTV service to TiviMate

Open TiviMate: on first launch, the app prompts you to add a playlist. Choose the portal option (Xtream Codes / portal), then enter the server address, username and password exactly as received, paying attention to upper- and lower-case letters.

The app connects to the server and downloads the channel list and electronic programme guide (EPG). After a few seconds, the TV guide appears: you can browse channels, add favourites and organise your groups.

If the connection fails, first check your login details — this is the most common cause. If you are unsure, message your adviser on WhatsApp: they will check your service within a few minutes.

Step 4 — Adjust the app for everyday use

A few adjustments make viewing more enjoyable from your very first evening:

  • Favourites — add the channels you watch regularly to find them at the top of the list without browsing every group.
  • Channel groups — hide categories you do not use to keep only what you need.
  • Caching the guide — let the app load the EPG at startup so programme information appears instantly.
  • Updating the playlist — the app refreshes channels automatically; if a new channel does not appear, restart the app.

TiviMate and the rest of your setup

Your login details are not tied to TiviMate: they work with any M3U- or portal-compatible player. Many customers use TiviMate on the living room Fire Stick and another app on the bedroom Smart TV, with the same IPTV service. The device guide explains installation for each screen, from Fire Stick to Apple TV.

No VPN is needed: private servers provide direct, stable access without any additional technical setup.

No IPTV service yet? Try it first

The simplest way to start is with a free 24-hour trial: an adviser sends your login details, you enter them in TiviMate, and you assess stability and quality on your own connection before committing.
