Install and activate iBoproPlayer or IB Player

On a Samsung or LG Smart TV, open the TV’s app store (Samsung Apps or LG Content Store), search for ‘IBO Player’ or ‘iBoproPlayer’ and install it like any other app. On an Android TV box, Google TV or Fire Stick, install the app from your device’s Android app store. It is also available on smartphones and tablets.

On any device where the app does not appear in the store — Amazon Fire Stick, Android TV, Google TV or an Android box — you can install it using Downloader, which is also available in your device’s app store:

1. Install and open Downloader, then allow app installation if prompted.
2. Enter code 481220 in the Downloader field and confirm.
3. The iBoproPlayer download page appears: start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Once installed, open the app: the activation screen displays your device key and MAC address (step 2 below).

If you cannot find the app for your model, message your adviser: they will check your screen and recommend a compatible player from all supported devices.

On first launch, the app displays an activation screen with two details to note:

• Your device key (device key) ;
• The MAC address of your TV or box.

These two details identify your screen and are used to activate your device. Keep them handy for the next step.

After your 24-hour trial or order, send the device key and MAC address to your adviser on WhatsApp: they will activate your device and send your three login details — portal address, username and password. Then enter your login details in the app, paying attention to upper- and lower-case letters. The app connects to the server and loads the channel list, films and series: everything appears in the interface within a few seconds.

If the connection fails, first check your login details — this is the most common cause. If you are unsure, your adviser can check your service within a few minutes on WhatsApp.

• Favourites — add your regular channels and content to find them without browsing every category.
• Categories — hide groups you do not use to keep only what you need.
• Reloading the playlist — if a new channel or film does not appear, restart the app to refresh the catalogue.

Most issues can be resolved within a few minutes. Here are the most common problems and what to do about each one.

• Downloader displays ‘invalid code’ or does not respond — check that code 481220 is entered in full, without spaces. Close Downloader, reopen it and enter the code again: even one missing character can cause the search to fail.
• The download fails or gets stuck — check that your TV or box is connected to the internet (a very slow connection can prevent the installation file from downloading). Restart the download in Downloader. If a network error appears, restart your router and then your device, and try again.
• Installation is blocked — Downloader must have permission to install apps on your device. On Fire Stick: go to Settings, Device (or My Fire TV), Developer options, then enable ‘Apps from Unknown Sources’ for Downloader. On Android TV, Google TV or an Android box: go to Settings, Security (or Privacy and restrictions), then allow unknown sources for Downloader. Try the installation again.
• The activation screen does not appear — if the app gets stuck on launch, close it completely and reopen it. Also check your screen’s app store for any pending app updates.
• The device key or MAC address seems incorrect — copy both details exactly as shown, without adding spaces or changing capitalisation. A single changed letter can prevent activation. If you are unsure, send a photo of the activation screen to your adviser on WhatsApp so they can read the details directly.
• The IPTV connection fails — first double-check the portal, username and password, paying attention to upper- and lower-case letters: this is the most common cause. If the details are correct but nothing loads, restart the app and then your device, and contact your adviser: they will check your service within a few minutes.

For any other issue, simply send a WhatsApp message: describe what you see on screen (or send a photo), and your adviser will explain what to do next.

IB Player (or IB Player Pro) works on the same principle as iBoproPlayer: activation using a device key, followed by connecting your IPTV service with your login details.
