IPTV on Fire Stick: install and set up your app

Fire TV Stick plugged into the back of a television

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is one of the simplest ways to make any television IPTV-compatible. Here is how to install and configure your app in a few minutes.

Prepare your Fire Stick

Plug the stick into an HDMI port, connect it to your Wi-Fi and check for updates under Settings > My Fire TV > About.

Install the IPTV app

There are two methods, depending on the app you choose.

From the Amazon Appstore

Search for the app (for example IPTV Smarters Pro) in the store and install it directly if it appears.

Using the Downloader app

Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore, then allow it under Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install Unknown Apps. Next, enter the code or address for the app you want.

  • Install Downloader
  • Allow unknown apps
  • Enter the code or URL
  • Start installation

Connect your subscription

Open the app, choose Xtream Codes login and enter the username, password and portal address you received. Channels, films and series will then load automatically.

Improve playback on Fire Stick

The Fire Stick has limited memory: clear the app cache regularly, uninstall unused apps and place your internet router nearby, or use a compatible Ethernet adapter.
